So someone hit my partner while they where at work (They're a delivery driver) - He is okay and unharmed. Like he was turning and I guess the person who hit him just didn't stop, I don't know. All I know is the passenger door is absolutely ruined, glass shattered and its stuck shut from the impact. Luckily they stayed, and provided their insurance information. Insurance wrote it up to a total loss, and offered to either give is 1,300$ (if they took our car) or 800$ (and we keep our car) I have to call around and see if there's a shop here in town that would even be willing to pry off the passenger door to replace it AND the back hatch which was vandalized in October. (someone literally shot it with a shotgun) - So I now have to purchase a back hatch and a passenger door AND pay for labor to replace the parts because I just don't have the tools to get the passenger door unstuck.

I'm frustrated and tired of all the car troubles because frankly we just can't:
A. afford anew car.
B. Depending on the repair cost the insurance payout simply won't be enough.
C. We have to get it looked at to even see if it's structurally sound/ safe enough to drive. (It drives just fine, so it's mechanically sound, I just don't know if the frame is damaged or anything like that)


So yeah, that's where I'm at right now. Just, BLEH.

I will be returning to commission work, and getting a little caught up before I sell anything else. I will likely need to take some more work in order to set funds aside for the repairs. I have had a terrible habit of not writing commissions down and just making a SAI./PSD File with the reference in a folder on my desktop. This may have worked for me in the past, but it will certainly not work for me going forward.(especially now.) - I want to try and be as organized as possible when it comes to commissions going forward, and I certainly will NOT be overwhelming myself EVER again.
