So I went to the specialist today, and everything went okay! I found out it's not retinal detachment, cancer, or anything super scary. In fact he THINKS it's neuroretinitis which is just inflammation of the optical nerve (which is what's causing my vision changes.) I have to go to ANOTHER specialist on Monday so they can put some dyes in my eye and take some special photos/ basically have some more tests done to confirm that that's what's going on. BUT he wasn't alarmed or worried for me, so hopefully after Monday I'll have a concrete answer and be able to start treatment.
