So yeah, the job at the assisted living facility is going fabulously. I am one of two cooks. I am loving it
Also i am quite literally holding my breath here guys..........it looks like i am going to be buying a house.......i have slowly started the process. I hope to be able to move come early December.
I am blown away how quickly this all manifested.
Despite the fact that this year was horrible in many, many ways, i am doing great right now. This job was the big break i needed, and i am grateful on how the stars aligned so to speak to make this all possible.
On a darker note my grandfather is not doing so well he has some serious Alzheimer's and he slips away more and more each day. He doesn't have much time left. However my family has more or less banded together we will get through this.
But yeah.....if you had told me five years ago that i would be living is southern Missouri and working in assisted living i would have laughed in your face.
However here i am.
The next few weeks should be interesting
Things have been put into motion and right now all i can do is strap myself in and enjoy the ride

Yeah, life throws in some wicked plot twists at times doesn’t she? You just have to figure out which part of the story is comedy, tragedy or some combination of the two.
