Let me put it out, that I'm not angry in anyway.
Anyone who knows which show the title's quote came from gets a thumbs up from me! :D If you know the nickname of the guy, you get two thumbs up!
Now for the meat of this journal: I'm gonna have to put my foot down and close up any further requests for a while. All this free work is kinda putting a hurt on my own projects and even my time. I mean I haven't worked on a new comic page in over 3 weeks, and I barely touched any serious animations. When will requests be open again? Who knows? The only people I'd be willing to do requests for are family, friends, and long time web friends. I kinda felt that last one was worth mentioning for whatever reason.
Now, I have no problem in keeping Commissions and Art Trades open mainly because (I'm selfish) they're more worth it to procrastinate my own projects for. If you are interested in either of the two, just note me about it.
So in short:
Requests = CLOSED (indefinitely)
Trades = OPEN
Commissions = OPEN
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask! :D

I actually don't go about saying "My art is awesome!" because I fear people may see me as that d-bag that needs to be cut down to size. I also use my somewhat faux negativity as motivation so I can strive to get better. :) THAT is the DT Way!

I was too late reading this comment. I knew the answer of course because I was a huge Seinfeld fan. I loved the show...but found it difficult to watch after the whole Michael Richards incident. I wanted to pretend like it wouldn't prevent me from watching the show, but it still did.
My brother used to compare me to George when we were younger.
Even after what Michael did, I still see Kramer as Kramer. And Kramer did exist before the incident, so ignorance COULD say it doesn't count. I'm sure if the situation had the black guy being the comedian, I bet people may not have been as up in arms about it, because I feel the double standard would play right there.
Was being compared to George a compliment? I would've found it pretty cool.
I'm sure had the races been reversed it would have been a different story. Reverse racism is "acceptible" now, or so it would seem. Perhaps that's our 40 acres of land we were promised. I normally don't mind racism, it doesn't bother me. It's just hard laughing at "Kramer's" jokes, knowing how he really feels about African Americans.
It wasn't a compliment, but more of him making fun of me. Everytime I would tell him a story about something "irregular" that happened to me, he would tell it right back to me using George's voice and mannerisms, and as if I were talking to Jerry. I laughed a lot of the top.
Its still hard to say though. He was being heckled, and he was desperate for a comeback/joke, so he reached for whatever first came to mind. Still a pretty poor reason if THAT was true...
I guess that would get a little annoying after a while.
Aw, so close, but because that was a spoof, the judges have deemed your answer incorrect...
