Here is a brief self-summary, in case you wish to learn a little more about me, or find a few initial points for starting a conversation.
The core of my beliefs can be most closely approximated as Pantheism. Specifically, i believe in the holiness of the Universe as singular entity, informing a holistic attitude towards the world, as well as our shared destiny, not just that of humans, but of the entire cosmos.
To face the overwhelming complexity of all the permutations of the forms of existence, one would do well to have a general navigational guide, namely philosophy. As the central question we are facing being ethical in nature—what should our next action be?—the answer is heavily dependent on our knowledge of metaphysics and epistemology. Personally, i'm mostly interested in the pre-Socractic and Continental schools of thought, but other fields ike physics, biology, history, and many others can be just as informative towards that question.
Another avenue of tackling the said complexity, albeit at a more concrete level, is the study and processing of information. The areas i'm especially keen on are those of user interfaces, artificial intelligence, decentralized networks, and giant global graph.
From the profound interconnectivity of our actions and fate naturally flows my adherence to environmentalism and veganism, with technology being an excellent avenue for improvement given its ability to reduce waste and harm.
A favorite pastime of mine is creative activities, be it relaxing ones like digital painting, or various simple do-it-yourself projects. And while i'm still long way away from it, i'm aiming to eventually expanding into writing as well.
Speaking of which, stories are another wonderful way of exploring life, through novels, motion pictures, or interactive media. I'm mostly interested in hard sci-fi, adventure and romance, with videogames being mostly of an academic interest, specifically those of abstract and low-resolution variety.
Despite presently spending most of my time alone, i have a profound love for deep conversations, especially in voice and letter formats. And while, at first glance, i might come across as someone very serious, when happy, i'm extremely chatty, bouncy, and goofily giggly!
