Has anyone tried squirrel watching? it's like bird watching but with squirrels.

We've watched squirrels for years, often by looking out the window! After a while you start noticing regulars coming to the bird feeder.

No squirrels in my area, sadly. Fun to watch the crows, starlings, mourning doves, and all the smaller birds though! Even get the occasional woodpecker or owl.

They seem to like evergreens, or at least one of the species in my area did. Been years since I've seen one. Do have blue-jays coming around in recent years, they sure can chatter up a storm!

No squirrels, but sometimes we get koalas in the trees. During summer, we also provide water for them so they don’t die of thirst.

Yeah, sometimes. They make loud screeching sounds like you sometimes see online in videos.

I use to squirrel watch out my patio window at the squirrels. I put out food for them. Like others have said, over time you'll spot the regulars, strangers, and "invaders". Watching them quarrel is pretty fun.
