FLo probably looks nicest and best maintained of the lot in my opinion. Sofurry is infamous for being "the place sus content goes to". FN is full of ajax and endless scroll. Weasyl is kinda overly oldschool in my opinion.
Unfortunately none even come close in activity to FA which is the main issue with them.

Traffic is definitely an issue, but it won't grow unless people use 'em so /shrug time to start uploading in more than one place I guess.

SoFurry is a platform better suited for writers than illustrators, FLO I've been hearing some pretty not cool rumors about so unsure.

FLO doesn't want NSFW feral content and even seem iffy toward SFW ferals too, so 10/10 don't suggest going there.

FLO is an ever burning dumpster fire evolving around kink-shaming and what/who should be banned next. Avoid at all cost if you don't want to waste your time debating your uploads with puritanical furs.

SF only really good for writing, and at that their text editor has some serious formatting issues. Site hasnt been updated much in years and frequent redevelopment of next gen occurs. Mainly operated on volunteer work iirc.

I'm over on Weasyl as well, I prefer it to FA generally. The site layout I like better.

SoFurry is my main hub. Community is smaller but often feels more friendly to me. There are some bugs with the site but it gets more love and attention than FA does.

The site does go down a bit more frequently than FA since Toumal hasn't sold it to a business to fund the servers.

It has a pretty good tagging system though and allows users to help tag content too.

I heard good things about Pillowfort! :D

For uploading to multiple sites, PostyBirb is a good option!

Sofurry has been a pretty good option, especially given how its features have been improving over the years, and it's built around a very good tagging system. Smaller community is the main downside.
