I mean, when getting an opening from a cancellation, they can really only let you know when they find out themselves. I'm just glad with this sudden of a booking that work isn't going to be an issue for my partner to help me durring recovery. Getting time off with that short of notice definitely wouldn't fly with their management...

Oh holy heck! Good luck man! What I kept telling myself before mine was that "All you have to do it show up. Then they will lead you through the motions and it will be over." It helps keeps your mind off the rest of it? Or at least it helped me

Oh I'm more nervous about the after surgery stuff, than the surgery itself.
I dunno maybe because it was so sudden that hasn't settled in yet

Anyway, Noah doesn't work, their store JUST closed like 5 days ago
So yeah the timing is kinda good, otherwise I dunno what we'd do. Feel like Noah would have to just quit if they didn't allow time off _{which they didn't when noah needed a break for mental health so 8)}
