TERMS OF SERVICE
IMPORTANT! YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO COMMISSION, NO EXCEPTIONS!
PAYMENT
The entire payment (plus shipping) must be payed in full before the costume's completion. You are allowed up to 4 (four) payments, one must be made up front upon acquiring a commission slot, you must pay the entire price in full by the last payment. The first payment must be at least 25% of the total price, which will act as a non-refundable deposit (more details can be found under "cancellation". Shipping is not included in the original quote, and is entirely dependent on your location. You must pay the full basic shipping price, I will not mark the shipment as a "gift" in order to avoid shipping fees. I will not ship your order under any circumstance unless the payment is completed in full, including shipping. 5% of all profit will be donated to the Snow Leopard Trust.
DUCT TAPE DUMMYS (DTDS)
If you are commissioning any of our fullsuit options, you must provide me with a usable duct tape dummy. If you don't know how to make a duct tape dummy, you can watch this quick tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V24k-xhuFMI
REFERENCES
Please have one or more references of your character, this will assure that your commission is completed accurately and efficiently.
CHANGES AND EDITS
Please be courteous upon requesting changes. You will be sent progress pictures at every stage of the project, if you have a problem with the current design, let us know at the early stages of the project. Drastic changes to the commission that don't reflect the original references and instructions provided during the initial commissioning process will require additional fees. In order to assure a smooth commission process, provide clear specifics on the details of what you want for your fursuit during the early stages of the commissioning process.
CLIENT COMMUNICATION
Clients can communicate through e-mail, Telegram, Twitter/Instagram Direct Messages, or any other approved communication method. If a client response is required to continue to the next step of the commission, and no response is provided within 72 hours, you will be pushed back by one slot in the commission queue until the message is responded to.
DEADLINES
Homebrewed Suits currently operates 30-40 hours a week, Monday-Thursday/Friday. Your commission is subject to an 6 month guarantee, meaning your commission will be finished and shipped within 6 months of making the final payment. Earlier deadlines can be accessed by entering into our Express Queue (1-3 Month Commission Time). Access to the Express Queue can be achieved by paying an additional 15% fee upon commissioning, or by being an active Platinum Tier or higher patron. The Express Queue cannot be upgraded to after the project has already begun production. If your commission is not finished within 6 months upon paying the final payment, your shipping fee will be waived.
REPAIRS AND WARRANTY
Your commission is covered under a 60-day warranty. If you encounter any issues with your fursuit that impairs your ability to use it properly, you have a right to a free repair (shipping is covered one way). We do not currently offer repairs after our 60-day warranty unless there is a critical issue that warrants a recall.
CANCELLATION
Homebrewed Suits reserves the right to decline your order for any reason. Your commission will never get cancelled midway through the project, unless in extremely rare circumstances where the client is being overly hostile and uncooperative. You may cancel the project at any time. In cases where your commission has not been started, you have a right to a 75% refund. In cases where your commission is in progress or completed, you no longer have a right to a refund. In cases where Homebrewed Suits cancels your commission, you have a right to a full refund. If you are unresponsive for over a month, or if you are late for a payment by over twice the length of agreed upon time between payments, your commission slot will be terminated, and you have a right to a 75% refund.
LIABILITY
Homebrewed suits is not liable for any injuries you retain while using any of our fursuits. In order to assure your safety, please be sure to stay hydrated, and avoid overly crowded areas.
