I FINALLY figured it out.
Holy shit I finally figured it out. I, am No artist. I'm a writer! it's much easier for me to do, fun, and arguably more detail-oriented than art Ever was. I have some scraps and pictures I'm gonna post, but after that, expect some actual Stories~
I'M BACK BABY!~ HAHAHAAAH!~ Oh, and Very big thanks to Trev for helping me figure that out.
I'M BACK BABY!~ HAHAHAAAH!~ Oh, and Very big thanks to Trev for helping me figure that out.
Are you already having plans what sort of stories you'd like to tell, Scamno? Situation writing, short stories, trivia essays, articles, poetry, songs, novels, CYOAs? Well, whatever you might enjoy going for, I wish you that it will lead you to many funfilled projects and of course am always around in case you need assistance with anything, dude. ^_^
I'm already planning a major story with scamno, as well as a surprise gift for a few folks~ if you'd like, I had an idea I wanted to draw with shiny, but now I might write it If you're ok with it which I predict you'll most likely be 110% with. >w< but anyway, a CYOA sounds like a Fun project to do~ i might do that later on. anyway, besides that, I plan on making Various different short stories and of course, some NSFW, I will tag and label accordingly, so no worries there. :3
In regards to crafting, I find it often quite amazing how people can translate their ideas into a three-dimensional project. There also exist of course 2D works which basically take a drawing and recreate that with different materials. Always enjoyed myself trying various crafting tutorials. From sewing to papercraft, etc. you can go there into pretty much as deep as cooking or baking which already get used to create amazing edible art pieces with.
3D sculpting is definitely an intecreate process when it comes to create as well as animate figures with it. It's always quite impressive solely when looking at the currently more and more VR chatroom avatars that some people make.
When it comes to animating, you can always start out basic with something as like a simple pixel animation with existing sprites to get a bit of an understanding for it. To draw whole animations is pretty much the next level to still illustrations.
Writing poems and songs, as well as composing can be fun to put together, as they ask you for your feel of rhyme and rhythm, to take a melody and extend it from there. Always big respect for the skill of chaining beats and knowledge of music instruments to songs that bring peoplegood times. ♪
Oh, I understand what you mean. It's always great in a story when the descriptions of the changes for the character, may it be their own experiences or a display of how circumstances, things and the environment may change, such all can help the reader so well to draw their own image of a scene inside their mind. You can play around with different styles, like the point of view and the narrative twist it can add, dialogue and actions that interprete your understanding of a character, and of course that comes with your own pacing and flow when writing.
It honors me that you fancy the idea again to let Shiny star in one of your projects, Scamno. I always think very fondly of thinking of Shiny getting into a bunch of funfilled situations on my mind already, and therefore, reading what Shiny's dudes and him get themselves into, is always entertaining to read about. My personal faves usually are short stories and situation writes because with such you don't have to focus on either a single chapter/episode worth of events for the characters as well as give a specific idea the spotlight. ^_^
Much success and joy for every upcoming project, Scamno. If you need assistance with anything, I happilytry to be of a help.
Oh definitely, VRchat avatars are insanely varied, and I Love it~ ooh, what if you were able to see Mr scamno walkin' around those crazy places?~ heheh but yeah, I would love to be able to make like, 3D models and such as a sort of, hobby, nothing too serious or comm worthy.
I Adore music, and I can hum tunes and beats and such, but I can't seem to, Translate that to the sheet, I need to practice that more, I have a Note block song maker on my computer, and it's a pretty good beginners tool~
You are a real artisan you know that~? you appreciate art of all types and skill level, people need to be more like you~ there's a lot of intricacies, and I feel I have a decent grasp on them. i just need to refine my skill and find a work flow that fits with me, and I think I could be pretty good with it~
Of course~ the idea I had in mind would be a one-shot, or more if you Really liked it, I just think shiny is such an interesting character and would fit perfectly into my odd and zany world, as sort of a positive driving force~ especially for poor scamno, I feel i'd have a pretty good grasp on how shiny would react in certain situations, so yeh. >w< not to toot my own horn or anything.
I might have you like, proofread a few short stories of mine on occasion, so I know I'm still Sounding right and coherent in my writings X3 but thanks~ for your, Mountains worth of support. -w-
I never got to own a VR device myself but it's neat to see what people can do with 3D nowadays. YouTube is currently all the buzz about socalled VirtualTubers, which use 3D avatars that move and capture your mouthflaps while talking tolet the character substitute in your stead. It's also always fun how people use 3D characters for animated music videos or in dance recreations via programs like MikuMikuDance.
I feel always a bit overwhelmed with music, too. Photography as well. Both seem difficult for me to review on. I mean, I can appreciate if something makes me feel good when taking it in, it's just like such works do have a lot of subjective value by the artist and it still after years can feel intimidating in regards of the knowledge that people have to develop to professionally make music or take high quality pictures with their means of taking photography.
Ah, I try. I just appreciate that in lots of ways, people can share joy through their hobbies and creativity. One can see art i so many things. The examples you counted down were also already pretty cool, Scamno.
I remember how often just peoples' skills in general can be fun and inventive, from a person constructing machines to 1:1 recreations of their favorite shows and video game world props, designs and even comedy as well. If you can amaze yourself quickly, then things never get boring. That's definitely the advantage about being curious about all the effort and earnest drive is behind a lot of ideas that people can have. ^_^
Hehe, feel free to have Shiny tag along and have fun times with Scamno. As long it's G-rated and Shiny stays his happy-go-lucky self, I am flattered to read about how he can help and assist his big dude. And if you ever felt like you'd want to know some extra trivia about Shiny, I can answer every question there is about him and what he likes to play. X3
You can be sure that it will always be fun to be of a support, dude. Never hesitate to come along and share yourself. =3
Cut yourself some slack, please. Nobody hates you because you might have other responsibilities, have had other passions or simply gotten not in the right mindset to approach creative content for a while. Each person has their own pace in approaching something and if I see anything then it's that you still enjoy creative content.
There is a difference between selfpity and selfcompassion. Because you can forgive yourself and share some of the same love and understanding that you bring up for other people around you is the sort of care that you should give yourself at times. So what if you haven't been very active in the fields that you had ambitions for? It's nonsense that you keep punishing yourself for something where nobody but yourself is actually mad about.
You sent me a shout stating that you'd be in need of a conversation partner but you don't wish to drag them down with you. That already shows that you treat people around you better than you do for yourself now. And that's wrong. I want you to feel good about yourself and able to say:
I love myself and when I stumble then it's okay for me to reach out and ask for support. My ideas and concepts have a point because they are my ideas and I can take my time because I simply do things in my pace. I respect myself and also show myself forgiveness because I still try hard enough, Because I love myself the same way as I love the ones next to me.
You shared your thoughts in this journal and that is already the right step. Share yourself. Whatever is on your mind, note things down and don't make yourself smaller in the process of it. Because reading from you I say is a good thing and the point of it all is trying your best. I'm hopeful because no matter what talent there is, everybody has potential and is able to bring a smile to peoples' faces. You've done so for me and that's why I gladly keep listening to you, Scamno. ^_^
I'm Having issues Motivating myself like i used to back in 2016, when i drew with Colors 3D, a lot of the art on my page scraps Now are from that time and i haven't done much Since then... i hate not being motivated despite having SO many characters and SO many ideas, that it's ridiculous! I look at a Blank canvas and just, freeze, do nothing, and then Bam, repeat after repeat, i hate it so much...
"you treat people around you better than you do for yourself now" y'know, my mom said something like that, i can't love others like i do, until i can start loving myself. but it's... hard for me. especially when i'm a Nobody. ...or at least Feel like one.
Ah, you state your characters a lot, Scamno. That's making me personally really excited. Having the wish to think of a bunch of personalities for a project is not an easy task and you managing to have have lots of things you enjoy, that in itself is already a lovely feat that is worth sharing. A passion for a certain art program? That's cool as well. I have tried that Colors program before. To work with the 3DS' small screen is something you surely need to adjust to and I'd myself have likely a bit of a hard time to keep on track with all of the overall canvas because of it. It's a feat that you managed to work around that before, I say. 👍
But Scamno, you are someone. A person with a heart, a person who can express their feelings, who does know when something does hurt and who shows good will. To me you are much greater than you give yourself credit for, so please let me hear much more about all such things that you mention. Time might pass and we might change but at our core we are all equal and deserve the attention. To me you have given a lot of joy so far, so I am happy to learn more about your thoughts and wanna appreciate them with you. =3
Yeah, well, funny thing is, i have an idea for a Web comic, it has the Working title "LIttle lizards" it's kind of Crazy, each species of reptile has like, a different associated Element, and they all live in their own Areas of that world, it has a pretty good backstory, i feel it has good plot, a nice antagonist, and a few good shocks and twists too~ now if i can just... Convince myself to Draw |3
you've got a point there, the only thing taht's annoying me is the disconnection between the screen and my drawing hand, my drawing tablet isn't working too well, and now i gotta draw with a Mouse. sooo yeah...
;w; Thank you man, i need words of encouragment like that a Lot anymore.
Oh, a web comic is something one needs a bunch of commitment and time for for sure. I have read a bunch and read from the creators' journals here and there that it can be quite a mammoth challenge to keep creating at such a degree. It's kinda like how manga artists have to draw day and night to keep their scedule with their publishers. I highly recommend a show called "Bakuman" which is about two aspiring highschoolers who dream of becoming manga artists. In it they face all the hardships that come with the process of creating ideas, stories and also bringing out something that can satisfy the higherups in the publishing department they are working for.
As said in my note, having great ideas for drawings is cool of course but necessarily you don't have to draw all the ideas right away. Write things down and give people a proper introduction of your concepts. Describing your elemental Lizards can be a bunch of fun, too. I am already interested by the concept. Reminds me of various things kinda how people write "Dungeons & Dragons" characters. =3
In that case you could try it the old fashioned way. Pen & Paper plus the good old eraser. Whenever you are ready with a draft you scan it with a flatbed scanner (or a well shot by a camera if you get the hang of that) and afterwards you use the digital tools.
You are always totodily welcome, Scamno! *sends Shiny with balloons* 🎈🎈(-^.=.^-)
Manga artists are Bordering on being Slaves, Just sayin'... :\ but you've got a point, it requires dedication that i am Not equipped for, a different thing i could try is a sort of, Ask blog, where i draw answers out for certain questions, the only issue THERE is Who do i Pick for the Blog..? ...well, there is the One option, but it may be too obscure.
I've always had people say it reminds them of avatar, maybe because they can conjure, destroy, and Manipulate their specified element. Like plants or even Sound, it's Great~ and i think it's got potential~
Would you believe i've done that before? And it turned out Pretty decent, really. :3
You are So cute i wanna squeeze you~
I bet they are very invested in their craft to even go for such a career. And in some cases there likely is great pride involved, too.
In terms of what you describe there, I feel reminded of what some folks called "Curious Cat". I think it's a platform where people can create a Question and Answer blog like that.
Whenever you want to share more with somebody, I happily listen, Scamno. I definitely also were one who generally liked the usual rock-paper-scissors concept of magic in video games and shows. It's always neat what power systems some authors come up with, which conditions are tehre to make use of powers and how you can make them feel believable in their given setting.
Tha's great to hear that you've got options and sme also that you are familiar with then, I'd say.
Scamno is welcome to squeeze Shiny as often as he wants to. He could even switch into a Plushiedile form so he's extra soft and cuddly then. =D

You'd have to be passionate about it to go through those rough working conditions Just to make a product people Adore.
Whoa, Really? That might be Just the thing i'm Looking for! i might have to find it, try it out.
Well, I can certainly, lore dump a bit for you, I think that some of their powers could work in Tandem, like how the Air tribe took some Water, aerated it, and made it spread across the world before, hydrating everyone, making it easier on the water tribes people to share the life-giving Liquid.
Yep, now i just need to be Patient, and take the process, Slooow. maybe because i want to Work on a drawing in One fell swoop and Never touch it if i didn't finish it, which with me saying that out loud, sounds So dumb.
Better watch it, i like my plushies with extra "Stuffing" ;3
At some point creators likely want to make something that will excite and surprise themselves, too. It's likely interesting to be in the position where you are a story author and simply love the concept of your characters and have just so much fun adding more and more to them; I could imagine that some creative minds are extremely invested with their works, liking to keep on thinking how their worlds keep moving onward and characters live their lives. It's likely quite complex to the degree that some are likely quite obsessed with their ideas.
I admittedly never used it myself before. Only know that people can answer and send questions anonymously or publically on it. The address is couriouscat.me and to register they seem to require a twitter or Facebook account.
Her is an example of a Youtuber checking his questions and replying to them in his video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CDkqj2-nEA
It's pretty much a social networking thing where you receive questions and people have a unified place to look for questions and answers by a certain user.
Ah, like bubbles to carry water inside? Neat. Makes it practical to deliver the water with if nothing's in the way of that steady flow.
Imagine somebody who is asked to paint something large like a huge group art illustration on a wall would do something like that? It's not a bad thing to approach some bigger projects step by step. You don't have to wrap things up always in one sessions, Scamno. Simply make sure to remind yourself why you had an idea in the first place and stick to enjoying yourself from start to end. ^_^
Oh, Shiny likes stuffing though. Cotton, wool, plastic beans and polyfill, whatever one usually takes for plush toys will taste great to him (like candyfloss/cotton candy) in his Plushieform and make him grow. That way even a Macro could have a Plushiebed when having Shiny around. Even if one would hook Shiny to a Build-a-Bear machine and manage to make him huge enough fast that he'd rip into a lot of filling material, Shiny would pop back short time later safe and amused. =D
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/16572938/ <--- example of a round Totoplushie as a room-stuffer. X3
That sounds like me, my fantasy world has been evolving since i was 8, now i'm an old man going on 24 and i'm Still enjoying the way my worlds evolving!
Yeah, after looking at it, i Don't think that's what i'm looking for, i'm thinking comments coming in on a post, then i draw a response, a lot like the mew and mewtwo art pieces. That's technically an ask blog in a way.
Oh no, no, they Send water Into the sky quickly, it disburses, and it creates Rain, then they blow it around to areas that Need it. Although that Does sound like a good way of getting it Upwards. :3
True. hehe, honestly, funnily enough, i want to make a big painting with almost All of my OC's smash banner style, y'know?
I adore that Very very much~ man, you've thought that through huh?~
It's a lot of fun when your characters bring a smile to your face and reminscing over their little adventures is pretty much like fairy tales to you.
Shiny likes the rain, just when the clouds get all angry and start getting louder, the little guy gets afraid. But it's cool that your characters look for fun inventions to bring rain to tribes that need it.
That sounds like a cool idea. I found that artwork way cool personally.
Hihi, it's pretty much a toony thing and where one time Shiny might look like a tubby stuffed Toy, he might at another time being like a macroversion of his plushy self. He's happy as long as others have a cuddly time. Any yup, all to cover the ideas of what could make for a bunch of fun and wholesome entertainment. X3
