tips for life

people if you truly want to be happy in your life then you need to do 2 things.
1. find a good paying job that does allow you a couple of days off of work a week.
2. move FAR away from your parents as soon as you can support yourself for that time.
the reason for these is because since i was 11 years old i have not had 1 day off of some type of work and i do mean not 1 day. my parents opened their own business after my dad was involved in an accident but this allowed them to only work when they wanted to. once i was 16 and got my own job i was going to school in the morning, working in the afternoon, finishing up my homework and then going to bed to repeat this 5 days a week. sound like a normal kid's life right? well remember how i said my parents worked when they wanted to? this lead to my parents not working on the weekdays when they should have been but then on the weekends when its supposed to be time to relax, they have the brillant idea of getting up early in the morning, spending 10-13 hours working around the house and then going to bed to do the same thing on Sunday. this repeats my everyday life for 20 years. i am now in my 30s and live close enough to my parents where they call me every friday saying "be at our home at X time, we are going to spend the day doing X". it pisses me off to no end that my parents for years only wanted to do things around the house on the weekends when i had off of work which they could have had done during the week if they didnt want to go to work themselves.
now dont get me wrong, i love my parents but what i can not stand is the stupidity of not working when you are supposed to during the weekdays so you could have done this shit during that time but you want to wait until the weekend to get it done. my parents are in for a world of surprise when they find out that i am moving 10 hours away for my job and will not be around to help them anymore.
