boha is missing for a long time on telegram, neither he replies sms or FA... Is there any information about him? :<

UPD I've got a message from a person who is in contact with Boha, they said: "Boha is alive and fine, just on an extended break from posting or focusing on many other things right now."

Hoping they're doing alright, since September 5th seems to be the last time they've ever been active on anywhere, with the date coming from their most recent FA Favorite.

That sounds rather ominous. Not gonna lie, I know of someone who commissioned an artist, but their commission never got finished because the artist quit being active. The artist would have said something in notes if something was going wrong, but when my friend tried to message him, he's been kept on unread for almost a year now.

Can't help but fear the worst that the artist my friend commissioned may have passed away. 😞

It's truly terrifying, how all of the sudden a person can disappear without a trace in the internet, unless someone knows them personally and having contact irl. Whenever I observe old accounts of people, who no longer active on them for maybe 6 or more years - I just feel an eternal sadness and anxiety, that this person might no longer be here on earth..

I am glad to know that I am not the only one who is concerned about Boha.
I just assumed they were busy... or just lost interest into talking to me (doesn't help that we both were busy 24/7)

Don't know them, but I know it's a horrible feeling. I still wonder what happened to Pilot, who disappeared from the fandom 20 years ago.

I saw SonechkaChizhikov gave thanks on boha's profile a week ago. Not sure what the thanks are for, but it's at least a sign of activity. Might be worth asking SonechkaChizhikov about it.

that's worrisome... :( hopefully they are just on hiatus.... maybe taking a break, or can't muster the will to check back for now but is physically alright.... maybe they aren't doing so well but they are getting help? like, gone into inpatient care? I dunno, I"m a paranoid person but trying to be positive, so these are my thoughts on what could be, inmy opinion, soothing answers.

I've always assumed Boha had been busy or taking a break from things. Be it due to work, covid and or social stress. I wouldn't know but we can only assume for now, I'd rather not assume anything else. But if they're not replying to phone sms text messages then that is a bit concerning.

I don't know this person, but I've seen artists with a lot of outstanding commissions or other fandom obligations (such as a webcomic) completely vanish when they don't want to finish them, and can't afford refunds.

Last message I had with boha was on the 14th.

Lately online activity is just not a thing for them. A very busy life, trying to stay fit physically.

Ah, glad to know they're doing well! I had been a little worried too. They had approached me about getting a commission together earlier this year but all went quiet after a while. They hadn't actually read my last note so I had figured they were taking a break or something of the sort. Really glad to hear that the suspicion was correct ^^
