I had hoped to have spent the last couple of weeks focusing on my drawing over my writing - I had some busy things lined up with work and I knew I would never have been able to sit down for long enough and write properly. However because of some ongoing tech issues I'm having with my graphics pad, I'm essentially unable to draw anything on my PC. I was hoping these would have been remedied by now, but clearly they are far too complex for the customer service team! x3 This is pretty dissapointing because I've got a whole ream of stuff that's either partially drawn or planned that I'd love to work on. I've even got a couple of gifts for friends who have now been waiting for several months for their work (I really appreciate your patience!)

At times it can feel like I've wasted many months dealing with this issue when I could have been so much more productive, but I'm not letting this get to me. I made a promise to myself when I started to write (and again when I started to draw) that I would never let myself feel too pressured by the output rate of my art. IRL I have a good job that I really enjoy, so there is no need for me to make money doing commisions; I write and draw purely for my enjoyment and as a way of relaxing. It only becomes more complicated when I do gifts for friends which get interuppted by stuff outside my control -_-

I'm still (perhaps foolishly) holding out hope that I'll be able to get my current tablet fixed, but I'm now considering just getting another and hoping that works better on my pc. In any case, I hope I'll be able to draw some hot digital art for you all again soon! Once work settles itself down a bit more, I want to get some more stories done as well. I look forward to seeing how much you all enjoy them :3
