What's your favourite thing to draw and why? Ohh... hmm... that's kind of two questions rolled together. Hahahaha.

Haha it's alright, I love questions! My favourite thing to draw is OCs because.... I love to do design and sometimes it's a great way to show yourself via drawing when you put something personal in the character representation! ^^

Speaking of characters... Who was the very first OC you created?

There is very much a part of us in each of our characters. My favourites are dragons, but I have characters that are other species too.

He was the first - but I keep getting ideas in my head and new characters keep popping up. I’m going to lose track of them all. :D Even now... I have another one that has coalesced in my mind... now I need an artist to draw it.

It's why I'm trying to limit myself and selling some of my precious characters, it's sometimes very difficult but I'm so happy when my OCs found their role in someone's stories!

How many characters do you have that you are selling some? I haven’t quite reached that point yet. Character concept? Hmmmm... it’s getting late here, but I’ll take a look through your gallery tomorrow... to see if your style fits what I’m thinking. I did Note another artist, though - but nothing confirmed yet.

I have 5 principal characters in my story I had time to draw already and I just started to create this world... And much more in my head, the thing is just I'm creating it all the time, each is precious to me but I just can't keep them all in my story and so I'm selling some of them as adoptables before they take a place in my world. I think 5 sounds not a lot but already it is not easy to focus!

I have too many... just counted, and there are 11, and I have #12 coming next week. Hahahaha. The one in my head would be #13. I'd say of my characters, maybe 5 are primary characters that I focus more effort on.... Nimbus, Dark'kar, Norbu, Sol, and Blaze (although Blaze hasn't seen much art lately). Part of me says to stop while I'm ahead... my imagination says keep going and create more characters. :D

How would you define your concept of beauty?

My concept of beauty is simple, I'm trying to see it everywhere and in everyone around me. I'm persuaded the beauty is everything and the world around is art. Hope I understood correctly the question 👉👈

What is the first thing you do when you wake up?

I check my phone to see if my girlfriend messaged me while I was asleep.

I'd say animation and illustration or artbooks if we can call it a media ^^

i like walking into the forest at night, during winter there are less leaves and more light

What were the first drawings you remember doing?

This question is very difficult! I think the first one I remember is a huge black cake with candles on the wall in my room when I was about 7 years old. it was extremely ugly but I had fun!

Your character is very original and interesting, what inspired you to create this character?

My boyfriend drew him for me, in fact! I said he should be a moth because they flutter around at random and bang their heads on stuff. He's otherwise just a caricature of myself. My mouse, Igor is the same story. He's a depressed homebody who reads depressing sociology books.

My favorite colors to work with are dark colors with yellow lights. Also I adore blue and white! Like the ocean..
In traditional art I prefer my big watercolor french brush and a good watercolor paper, also I love to draw with acrylics on small canvases ^^

Who was your favorite teacher and why?

Hi Von!

I think my favorite teacher was in college, it's my literature teacher, we had a lesson of specific literature with just some people so we was really close. very kind and interesting person, we still friends! She helped me a lot and thank to her I have a degree in philosophy even if I don't know enough haha.
And when I was little I went to animation school for one year and the teacher there was very modern and cool, I learned to use Photoshop there and I think if not him I could never start the animation.

How long do you writing? What was the first story you wrote?

That's really awesome! having great teachers in life is always such a blessing.

I have always loved telling stories. The first story I remember writing outside of school was on a Text based Role playing server about 20 years ago. The story followed an adventurer in a fantasy world setting, He was trying to find his purpose in a world where he didn't quite fit in.

Most of my storytelling has generally revolved around fantasy settings. I have always had a lot of fun using my imagination to tell stories. For a long time I stopped writing stories and instead focused on Role playing games like dungeons and dragons. However I have recently found a passion to write down my own stories again, which I have really been enjoying. I have received very kind feedback which has inspired me to keep going.

What do you think of Wendigo characters?

I think Wendigo are fascinating and fearsome but unfortunately I don't know a lot about them... If you want you can try to describe me some main things I need to know ^^

My turn! What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby is gaming, and working in a 3D graphics engine called Blender, though I'm trying to get back into using it so I can make some art, models, and animations.

As for some of the things with wendigo, they've been described as perfect killing machines, though also as guardians who could be employed or attracted to guard areas like villages, and they are seen as representing many things from the staple symbol of cannibalism for a lot of Native tribes, to the winter, and even greed or gluttony through lack of food from a harsh winter, they've been said to be able to control the weather in colder areas, and there's quite a bit more to know about them since there's maybe 5 or so different versions of the wendigo legend, like whether its a curse or a spirit that created them, and if its a disfigured human or they full on transformed from it into a deer themed entity or something else, though with Sindri, he's just a friendly wendigo who drinks a lot, and likes to keep people safe, especially from hostile wendigo

What is the earliest work of animation that you can remember seeing that resonated with you enough to leave a lasting impression? As an animator yourself, I'd love to know about your early inspirations.

Thank you for this interesting question! I think the first one was The Secret of Kells, I think this film is not the most interesting but even now I see some kind of echo of this film in my artworks and animations. As well as The Song of the Sea by the same creator. Also, I was extremely impressed by 3d in Mune: Guardian of the Moon. And of course Ghibli studio films! Especially Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke. Actually I never considered animation as my goal until now.

If the magic were real in our world, what magical ability or item would you have?
And I would like to ask you the same question as your if you don't mind to respond on two questions ^^

I haven't animated in a long time. But the earliest film I have memories of was a hastily VCR-recorded half an hour from Studio Ghibli's own Laputa: Castle in the Sky. The imagery and atmosphere stuck with me so intensely as a toddler that many years later I tracked it down, and it was very cathartic to watch the full movie after having such strong emotions tied to what was previously only a brief glimpse.

In terms of magic, the element of water seems to find it's way into any sort of magic system used by my OCs. And for very good reason. Although it doesn't get as much publicity as fire, lightning and it's close relative ice; water's reflectiveness, adaptability and ability to foster life makes it my personal favourite. If I were ever to possess a strong magical connection with something, I would want it to be water.
