So I've vanished over the last week. After my surgery, I had a drain put in place to remove excess fluid. This stayed in for 2 weeks and was removed last Friday. The dr looked at it, said it looked great and took it out.
Saturday, I got sick, really, really sick. I lasted all of Saturday but checked myself into the ER on Sunday with a fever of 104.... about 105 is when brain damage starts happening.
Turns out my drain got incredibly infected, and I entered into the ICU with stage 3 sepsis. Stage 4 is when your individual organs start shutting down.
The one infection sparked others, and I ended up getting 3 surgeries all together last week.
I'm still very sore and a bit weak but after over a week of hell, I am home and alive.
I tried drawing yesterday but honestly my grip and pressure and everything feels like all or nothing right now so its just not going to work. Don't expect to see anything from me for a few weeks while I heal and pull myself together.
