So I can't remember if I informed you all (I think I have), but back in August I got a new job. It's out of customer service and...that alone has made a remarkable impact on many things, really. In three months, I haven't felt ill enough to call out, which is unusual because even though I'm not in bad health, I do have bouts of illness that last for a day or two. This has lead me to realize how big an impact a toxic work environment and stress has had on my physical and mental health. So I won't lie, 2020 hasn't been all bad to me...just mostly bad.

Also worth noting, it has been a long time since I've posted any writings. I know I keep saying this, but I am working on stuff! I've been journaling a lot with my ideas and shaping them. So while I may not have posted anything, it does not mean I have stopped working :)

In regards to what I'm working on, I've talked to a couple of you here about it already, but I've decided to focus on a project of loosely and not-so-loosely connected characters in world just like ours where things take a sudden shift and they have to deal with said changes. It's been an idea brewing in my head for a very long time, since 2013 at the latest. The idea is fairly straight forward, but one I haven't really seen before with one or two exceptions: what happens when various modern day military units, including SOF, come into contact with creatures and monsters from folklore and other worlds? What happens when magic users enter the fray? That kind of speculation is a lot of fun for me, but the sky is also the limit. So I'm working on a number of characters and I also have a way to incorporate some characters I already have into more stories.

I'm also saving to have some more art done for this project, with character refs and other things! I won't give you a solid time when I'll have something written, as I know I'll jinx myself and not make any kind of "deadline" as yet. I do appreciate your patience though!
