the open wound in your mouth whilst it is healing will pump gunk out that will kill your sense of taste. give it a few more weeks to allow it to heal up. if your taste is still messed up after 6 to 8 weeks go see a doctor as you may have a a low level infection that is causing issues

Not sure if it's a similar issue, but in my case my bottom two wisdom teeth are completely sideways and going through the nerve canal in my lower jaw. I was told that if I was to get either removed I ran the risk of losing sensation in part of my face, potentially permanently. While I don't know if taste being affected is a related issue, it might be a result of nerve damage.

Так. Значит проблема перевода в Гугле. Если уже три недели вкуса нет, то значит может быть это результат индивидуальной чувствительности к обезболке. Сперва брызгали заморозку, а потом обкалывали или сразу обкололи? 80% за то, что это был лидокаин. Значит к врачу идти однозначно нужно. Обычно такой эффект проходит дня за два-три, в самых тяжелых случаях.

It took a good while for me to get full taste back, and I had to be really careful around stuff that was even just gummy in texture or my jawbone would start to crack, it really sucked for a few good months.

It took my at least 3 weeks for my mouth to heal enough to eat normally. The two doctors that removed mine were students and did a bad job. Very painful, and very bloody.

When I had all four of mine out my sense of taste was a bit off for a while.

For me it was about a week. But I recovered quite quickly after mine were taken out.

I was eating solid food again after three days.

I had two very different experiences with wisdom tooth removals. The first one was awful. They had to cut away flesh and drag it out. It was painful and annoying for like a week or two. The second time I didn't notice at all apart from the first day. I think it depends on the dentist and how well they did the procedure, never heard of lack of taste after a removal though. Maybe it's not related?

I have a good surgeon, all my teeth were hidden and the gums were cut and sutured. So far I have removed 2 teeth. The bottom one was very difficult and difficult. The taste disappeared the next day after the operation.

I don't remember losing part of my sense of taste when I had my wisdoms removed, I just remember the painkillers and not being ABLE to eat much of anything save lemon yogurt.

It took my boyfriend a few months for his mouth to completely go back to normal after his wisdom teeth were removed. He got his taste back after I think a month or something, but he had some numbness for a quite a while longer. It did eventually go away, but it took much longer than he thought it would. Hope you get your taste back soon!

Я удалял как раз восьмой. Все было нормально через час уже и вкус и все. Но я в платной делал. Надо обратиться к зубному который делал. Может изза наркоза алергия какая то?
