You wake up to the sound of a soft wind chime replicating the music of a faerie's wings. Sunlight tickles your resting eyelids as you twitch your nose. Have you fallen asleep? Echoing the memories in your mind, they have become fuzzier and silent. You are unsure. One eyelid is fluttered open to expose you to the brightness of a fresh morning. What first catches your awareness is how open the room you find yourself in is. It appears that all the doors glide so they can neatly stack upon their adjacent clone. Chilly breezes are whisked inside to dance for a moment only to flee once again. The polished birch floor reflects your fatigued image yet for some reason your wooden twin carries more of a glowing aura. One of physical serenity. Other than that, there really is little to explore in this living area. Almost as if it is merely the beginning of a home. You grunt in your throat, your back now relieved from connecting to such a hard surface. Your reflection may seem relaxed, but your spine would argue heavily. As you are about to observe the luscious gardens surrounding this cottage, a soft gasp is caught by your ears. "OH! I did not expect you to be awake already. I have not had a chance to prepare breakfast." A young woman stands just a couple of feet to your awaking body. Interestingly (or perhaps not so depending on who you are), she is a human. Her powdery white hair is played with by the winds behind her as it floats just above her ankles. Leaves and flowers have decided to nestle in various sections of these unpigmented locks. An indigo cloak shrouds the core of her body, a large contrast to the pastel environment you are in now. In her hands, her fingers are curved at the handle of a woven tan basket. What is inside is unknown.

After studying the stranger, you ask her where exactly you are and what happened.She offers a smile to show silent peace while remaining distant and still. "Well, you are in my home! My safe haven rather. It was created for me by a dear friend. As for how you got here...well I am not sure. I was about to take a bath and then you fell from the skies right into the lake! Unconscious, but no injuries from what I could tell. Do you feel any pain? Anything sore?"You shake your head, but obviously carry a perplexed face as your question merely doubles the thoughts in your mind rather than satisfy you with answers.It appears this mysterious woman can only offer a sympathetic shrug. Her golden eyes flicker and observe similar to how yours did with her. "Well, rest and take it easy for now. I shall prep us a very filling breakfast and afterwards I'll gladly help you find your way back home. Though I would be delighted to learn more about you. I enjoy meeting new people. Oh, my name is Phae...what is yours?"When you answer, it is almost as if it is giving her a cue to bring an amused smile to her petal pink lips before she spins on her heels and vanishes outside again, like a benevolent spirit guiding you towards...well breakfast!

Hello there! I hope you enjoyed a chunk of my writing! I plan on writing for almost every new submission art I upload, especially those done with others involved. Canon or not, it usually revolves around this maiden/adventurer traveling to different worlds/dimensions and ending up in interesting situations. And with interesting people. More of her backstory shall be written on her character reference.
