Granddad's surgery went well. Surgery started a bit late during the morning around 8am and wrapped up around 11am. They repaired the aneurysm in his stomach which was the main reason for the surgery and they found and cleared a blockage in his femoral veins they said this should help him get better circulation in his legs. I had a moment I felt really worried but it was just misunderstanding. But he's off the vent now, and he was a little out of it but he knows where he is at and why he was there, he'll be staying in SICU for the night, hopefully he will be well enough to be moved upstairs to his regular room where he will likely stay for the next seven days. I have to say I did nearly break down, but not when I seen him on the vent, that was a bit tough to see but it was when he was able to talk he could see me from the edge of the bed asking why I was way over there that got to me. But I'm feeling alright vastly relived a little tense but not near as much this morning. Grandma and my parents and family are doing pretty good, Hailey my little sister kept bugging me to fix her iphone hehe thankfully it was and easy fix just and update needed and the distraction was a welcome relief. Thanks for everyone's well wishes and prayers.
