Well i backed up pretty much everything, so i think i'm ok. The thing that worries me is that if the problem shows up again then that means my mother board is going to die. It's like i'm using a time bomb right now. =S

Ick. Yeah, I know whatcha mean. My old desktop machine has been slooooowly falling apart over the last few months, it's giving me the same vibe.
Ahhh, the joys of technology...

The thing that worries me is that this pc isn't even a year old, and right now there's no money for parts. The problem was this, if i pressed any key on the keyboard the pc would go into stand by mode, even if i pressed the num lock. I formatted the hard drive and the problem persisted, i even cleared the BIOS settings and everything. What i did was to disable the option that says "when i press the sleep button on the keyboard i want the pc to:" i chose "do nothing" and it seems like it's "ok" for now.

This is beyond weird.

Hmm... That is rather weird. Well, hopefully that's the last you've seen of the issue.
Still, at under a year old, shouldn't the parts still be under Manufacturer's warranty? They're usually good for a year, aren't they?

But it could be kinda tricky to try and explain the problem because i don't even know what's causing it. Well anyway, i'll just wait and see what happens.
