This year has been a real mess, some of us have lost many good things in our lives, experienced impossible odds... some of us are still going through these challenges even as the end of the year moves closer.

While I myself don't feel the level of joy as I have in previous years, I want you all to have the merriest of Christmases and happiest of holidays. Whether you are with your loved ones or away from them, I want you to let those in your life know how much you love them. You may fight, you may not get along well, but this is a time of year we should let go of the bad times, and for a moment say "we're all just people today, there is no division between us for this one day."

While true togetherness and the elimination of strain between us is something we all still have to work on, we can make a start with this one day at least.

2020 has been a trying year, and that trying time won't fully go away when the calendar flips from December to January. But let's all hope and add a little prayer that next year is brighter, and the shadow of this year leaves us. Pray to help your confidence, not because you expect someone to answer them.
