Merry Christmas 2020!!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone! I hope you all had a festive day; I certainly did.
Me and my family didn't do a lot; but we still had a good time. We held off unwrapping gifts until later in the day since me, my sister, and my dad went out for a walk along the lake to feed the animals and take a lot of winter pictures. The pictures turned out great despite having more than a few Chickadee fights over who gets to eat the seed out of our hands.
Once we were back home, we unwrapped a few gifts each, then took a break to eat our traditional Christmas brunch of buttered toast, eggs, bacon, pan-fried potatoes and mushrooms. We're going to have the turkey on Boxing Day tomorrow, and it's my time to prep the bird. After it got dark, we did the rest of our gifts. I'm happy with my gifts. I got a remote trigger and a new carrying bag for my camera; the two Jumanji movies starring Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart; another movie from 1985 called Runaway Train; and the final three alternate history books by Robert Conroy – now I own the entire series! Being a war history buff, I got a kick out of reading those novels.
So that's my family's Christmas; I'd like to know how yours turned out. One thing's for sure, I will not be sad to see 2020 end; it has been a very bad year for everyone, and I'm not just talking about the COVID crisis. I just pray next year won't be even worse, 'cause if it is, God help us all.
Wishing you all a safe Merry Christmas and hope to hear from you all again on New Year's Day 2021!
