A bit of warm up (A Carnival of Fun)

You’re sitting in your living room, late one night, watching the television as you start to doze off. Eyes heavy, body tired, yawning every three or four minutes. As you sit in your reclining chair, your warm blanket over top you, the channel changes, becoming static then changing to an advertisement for… a carnival? “Come one come all!” a voice offscreen shouted, spotlights circling around a red curtain with golden trim and golden tassels as they focus front and center on a shadowy figure “To the traveling carnival of Jade Manderson!” The figure shouted as the curtain opened, revealing an alligator in ringmaster uniform, however his mustache was a fake as they held a cane that had a golden raven head acting as the handle, two piercing blue gems were where the eyes would be as the gator's tail swished around. “Ride amazing rides! Like our ferris wheel, the Animal cage! The perilous plummet that will turn you upside down! Or the Ghoster coaster, where you feel as if you lost your soul!” they chortle as pictures of the rides flew past, “or play our games! Win prizes, become prizes.” they smile, their eyes locked with yours as you feel he is staring at you, watching and listening “See our attractions! Like the freak of a million faces, the pit of unusual smells, The petting zoo or the man with the living hands!” they remark, they started to raise the staff as you are being pulled in, your body moving on your own, but you don’t notice, you didn’t care as you wanted fun, you craved it. “Why not come join us, We promise you’ll have a good time~” they say with a devilish smile, as they reach out of the television and pull you in, the television fading to static afterwards.
Hey guys, I've been having a massive art block and i'm trying to get around it as i have a lot of stories to work on, your verbal support would be greatly appreciated as it will help me out of my block.
