This year sucked. Hard. Incoming wall of text to follow!
But, like most others in the world, being furloughed from work kind of forced me to take things into perspective. I started focusing on doing the things I liked and not rationalizing myself out of doing something that made me happy. That’s when I came back here. I started slowly but I was happily surprised and delighted to see that you all were still here and were still more than happy to support my art.
As you may have figured, especially on the discord channel, I’m not the most talkative person. It takes me many agonizing and anxious minutes to figure out how I will respond, or even start a conversation. But putting up a drawing has become my way of talking with you guys. Know that, even if I don’t reply back, I read each and every comment and it brightens my day.
If the title didn’t give it away, I’m celebrating a quiet birthday this year. But I also wanted to take this day and let you in on a few updates and new things that’ll be coming around next year. I shared a Patreon with my husband, Norco, when he still had his page. It’s still around but it’ll be getting a reboot. I’m reworking the tiers and rewards to better work with my schedule, as well as some new rewards, such as art streams, tutorials, etc.
I know some of you have been clamoring for art streams from me and they are still in the pipeline, but I’ve recently realized that I don’t have all the necessary equipment. I currently do everything from my iPad and, despite my best efforts and searching, I can’t stream from it alone. I need some kind of desktop/laptop. This leads to my next announcement: I’m revamping my commission prices and adding some new options, like sequence pieces and character sheets. All this should be up sometime next month.
Speaking of which, I’ll also be getting ready to move! I’m also currently looking for a new job so hopefully next year proves to be much, much better. We all need it to be better.
