If you're offering commissions, YCH are a great way to make sure you're comfortable with what you're drawing, and then possibly sketches for an option with more freedom~ :D

_{I do like the idea of doing more YCH's but I also feel like it's a REALLY overly competitive market compared to getting custom commissions? I mean anytime you refresh the front page it's several ych's available and stuff.. idk.. I guess commissions have that similar problems just in different ways. *puts on thinking cap* ;v;}

That's fair! Unless you've got a niche you plan on filling with pretty specific, YCH is pretty competitive to have yourself seen in. It's kind of a toss up; if you advertise them just a frequently, YCH versus a regular commission may or may not have more takers. Depends on what you've got to showcase! Finish up / color some of your recent sketches, and you've got some good stuff to start advertising with at the very least. :>

Self concious? Man, I think your art is mega cute. But I totally get that. Honestly, it's hard to tell artists what to do. If you draw something you are happy with, you will like how it turns out a lot more! Just do what your brain wants you to do!
