Question: Images quality

Heya!
I recently uploaded some pretty big drawing files on my gallery (I started working on larger canvases), so they take some time to be downloaded when their page is opened.
Do you guys prefer smaller files with quick loading time, but they may be less detailed, or larger files which may take some time to load, but very neat?
I was planning on uploading smaller files, but please let me know your opinion!>>> You can also find me HERE! <<<
