Baphokats are impish-like demons that are called into the mortal realm primarily as companions or guardians. Depending on who summons them, and for what purpose, they can range from all shapes and sizes and appearances. They are sentient beings with human-like intelligence, being able to blend into society as guardians that can remain unseen by everyone else aside from their summoner.

For example, if someone wanted a soft and cuddly companion, they would get a more cutesy looking Baphokat compared to someone who summoned one for protection, which would look more feral and ferocious.
