This is far from over, and is only getting started.
I posted this response to some random trumpist on Reddit, who was calling everyone assholes for making fun of the woman who got shot trying to enact a coup, but I think it would be good to share it here, as well.

Well, you're just going to have to get used to it, fascist scum. We have tolerated your garbage for the last 50 years, trying to be tolerant of evil voices because 1st Amendment. We tried debate, we tried meeting you in the middle, we tried appealing to your common sense, your morality, your religion, your sense of decency.
All we wanted from you and your ilk was for you to treat people the way you want to be treated.
But no. Apparently that's too much to ask for.
You want to be special.
You want your false, twisted religion to be the law of the world. You want to hurt anyone who isn't of that religion, or your ethnicity, or nationality, and you don't want to suffer even the expectation that you'll even be called out for your hateful and malicious behavior, let alone prosecuted.
You monsters don't just want total impunity.
What galls the rest of the human race, is that you EXPECT total impunity. As if your skin color and religion granted it to you at birth.
Well.
Allow me to speak on behalf of the majority of the human race, who don't share your views, and tell you, with the utmost respect and sincerity...

Your panicked flailing towards the vague ideal of being allowed to spew your toxins in the name of free speech has NEVER been anything but the enraged howling of a rabid dog, chewing at the bars of a cage of their own design and manufacture.
But we have to thank you as well?
You are the failed aspect of The Great American Experiment.
And never in the last 100 years have Americans had such a pure, unadulterated view of failure inside their own country.
To the shame of every decent human being, we clung desperately to the ideal of tolerance and free speech, but at the cost of our souls and our freedom.
But no more.
You and your ilk are cancer.
You and your ilk are tumors, sucking on the lifeblood of our republic.
And here, when our guardians FINALLY choose to uphold the law...
...only now, do you point and scream in terror at the sight of the surgeon's scalpel of the republic, descending to excise you from the body politic.

You and your ilk have finally opened the eyes of the decent people of our nation, and they are rolling up their sleeves in preparation for the ungodly amount of your shit that they are going to have to shovel out of their homes, their lives, their government, their religion and their minds.
