Regarding the Capitol thing

I know FA has decided to take actions because of the capitol thing and I have to say a few things on this.
1) Fa has the right to do so, it is their TOS.
2) I still think , on my very humble subjective level, they should not do that. Why?
a) it just makes supporters of this act feel like others are "fearing the truth"
b) it could make them become more radical and the chance for debate, as little as it may be, is fully gone afterwards.
c) for me they most important: We are not able to see WHO is supporting this kind of attack on freedom)
d) I want to abe able to see their reaction to get a full bitch slap of freedom of speech as they themselfes say they are so much for it. If they want freedom of speech, they shall have it ;) May just not be to their liking.
However. TOS say there will be actions, I do NOT know if these actions will be bans or suspensions.

History showed us that hitting your opponent when they're down is only going to create resentement and they're going to come back stronger a few years later. Its the whole reason the EU was created in the first place. To make sure it doesn't happen again.
Americans are very emotional people, and so they react to the moment without always thinking about the consequences.
And thats the "funny" thing here. The vast majority of people are respectable. It only takes a loud minority of extremes - and twitter - to put the world on fire, and we are forced to pick a side or face critisism.
Should Trump's account be banned from Twitter? Absolutely. He is part of that extreme loud minority. Everything he's done since he lost was selfish and over the top. You CAN contest an election without calling it a fraud every 5 seconds. And especially after the claims were rejected by so many judges.
Contesting was never the problem. The way he behaved to fire up his base was.
-But- the side who won needs to take the high ground here. They need to call for union, like Biden did. There's still way too many people, including the medias that are way too angry and the problem is that they're directing their hate on almost 50% of Americans while it was in fact only a loud minority of losers that stormed the capitol. These guys should be prosecuted and thrown in jail and fade into irrelevance, not become the central point of debate.
Oh. And Americans should consider having less host comedy shows and more actual debate shows. With reasonable people willing to debate, you know, like one versus one on equal terms. This simply doesn't exist in the US.
For sure, not all of them can be debated with, some are ignorant but I guess they often have not been taken serious enough or at least got the feeling they were ignored.

Well. I do disagree on the enforcement. But I see a tendency to not be able or eager to adress the problem and rather try to cover it up. I yet to not know if this intentional or just out of pure stupidity.
You know. it could all be that they actually believe this is the best way to deal with an issue but it is not. ignoring a problem will NOT solve it.
I see an intention of good will but it being done is a shitty way. if you get what I mean
For example: In Germany there was a bit wah wah going on about the word Gypsy sauce. Everyone was like : aww, this is discrimination and so.. So the company changed the name. Yay, wonderful. Good job. And Gypsys are still seen as outcast people, meet with a lot of prejustice . but at least we do nto hurt them anymore calling a spicy sauce Gypsy souce. Yay.
it is the same with banning people like Trump, Even if I think he is not the right man to be resident. Forcing him to be silent does NOT change the way he is seeing things. Geez. Showing he is talking nonesense would have been better. Silencing him is just helping him . Sighs.
