What's Next?

The new year is in full swing for everyone at this point and I am thinking about projects to work on.
Before I go into what I might do, I suppose I should talk about what I am aiming for. This year, I want to get better at backgrounds and placing characters in a scene. There is just so much story that can be told with a good background and I have neglected making good backgrounds for a bit to long. I am also kinda burnt out on ponies. RELAXE I dont mean I will not draw mlp anymore but I will favor drawing the lovely dragonesses of the show and if I do draw the ponies, I will prefer to have them in anthro form or as background characters. I will also try drawing the other species from the show. I also want to try drawing some more male characters. It will not be fetishy, I just want to try drawing something cool.
On to the ideas!
- Spike (Grown up Version from mlp finally) vs the Diamond Dogs.
I have always liked the design of the Diamond Dogs and it sucks that they got so little screen time. Lets throw them a bone and have them rematch a grown up Spike!
- Shining Armor vs Scales the Dragon.
Scales the dragon is the pink dragoness in the Triple Threat piece I made. She is evil and got her claws on the Blood Stone Scepter! Now she has forced the dragons to march on the Crystal Empire and Shining Armor must stop her! I imagine Shining Armor kinda like a magic version of Iron Man, who fights by controlling his armor. Could turn out cool but would really stretch my skill.
- Pregnant Dragoness (No proper name).
Scales needs an army to defeat Ember and asks an old dragon Goddess of War to grant her one. Little does she know, she is also the dragon Goddess of Fertility.
Scales would start as a wrathful evil character and grow into a loving motherly character (in more ways than one).
- Canterlot Confections
Ember, Smolder and Scales are invited to Canterlot for a party! Rarity has requested that all three show up a full month early for her to make a dress for all three dragons. Stuck in a town with the best delicacies in Equestria the trio find themselves getting carried away in all that Canterlot has to offer. And the party is still at the end of this month! Is it too late to take measurements again...
- Griffons!
I haven't drawn them, but I dont know who or what to draw. They are in the back of my mind and might be fun to draw idk. Oh! and dont forget Hippogriffs!
