This past year has been brutal for me. I'm counting 2020 and what we've gone through in 2021 so far. My Mom died today. I saw her take her last breath after suffering from Alzheimer's for 5+ years. Then, you have the whole incident on our nation's Capitol, the COVID pandemic STILL not going away, the election, my last local friend moving away after his Grandmother seriously injured herself (she had to be moved to a nursing home that's near where he now lives.), I got COVID at one point, as did my Dad...It's been awful, to say the least. I don't really have much else to say other than to cherish the few positive moments you have here. I'll be here trying to keep my sanity intact. I just hope I can find a lasting happiness soon. I could use it right now. :'(
