Debt

Once upon a time...
Lots of people seem to like to talk about the importance of paying off ones debts. No one ever seems to question why debt is needed to start with.
FA+

• who should (and should not) be levying liabilities on others
• who should (and should not) have liabilities levied against them
• when one should (or, should not) be levying liabilities against another, to begin with
?
as, i feel compelled to advise — debt, of itself, is not inherently bad; it is, rather, those who do the levying, who normally wreak the problems for that dynamic.
Debt, it seems to me, is most often used as a cudgel to bludgeon the poor to death with. It seems that it's only necessary to ensure the social strata remain in place with the rich at the top and the poor at the bottom.
But, of course, those who do it, who tend to see it as necessary, also tend to be the ones with greed in their heart, and greed is the cause of many types of evil.

this makes the most sense to me.
though, inda, i still have no easy solution for this Greed Problem which, euphemistically-speaking, wouldn't invoke a mass "reset button"
