Was there something I missed? If you're referring to the latest films (episodes 7 - 9), sure. But the Mandalorian is widely regarded by Star Wars fans as resuscitating the franchise. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have a much different vision of how to expand on the Star Wars universe than Ryan Johnson or Kathleen Kennedy. The former two are taking over most of the new projects and I think their work is good and respectful of Lucas' vision.

Only time will tell...
