Remember that these pledges will be paid monthly, so some frens will not have much to spare that often, especially if they’re on a tighter budget (such as myself). Start with a simple 1$ pledge that serves as a simple tip jar, and (if you’re planning on regularly posting) basic access to general updates about your patreon, accounts, and so forth.
From there, take into several different aspects of your normal commissions, such as:
- Frequency of each type of *submitted* commission ideas
- Frequency of each type of *accepted* commission ideas
- Average time needed for each type of commission
- Average price of each type of commission
- Overall “price versus time” for each type of commission

It’s a lot, yes, but I would think this is a great place to start with your standard pledge tiers. Keep in mind what more you’re offering for each new pledge tier.

Above all else, however...

Don’t promise things you aren’t certainly able to follow through with.

I'd absolutely go for monthly sketch rewards!

I'd say 20 bucks would be a decentish starting sum :3
And if you go for Patreon, make sure you put minimum bid to 5$ or more. I heard that less than that and its pretty much pointless as you lose from fees too much (someone correct me, if they know better).

But if you wanna try, go for it n.n Even if you can't get to your goal, you can fill it up with commission slots as needed. It'll grow overtime~
