Dad, April 12th, 1955 - January 21st, 2021

This past Thursday, my father died from complications from Covid-19, after being in a hospital since Christmas Day.
He was a good man. There's a lot I want to say about him, because there was a lot of good he did. But it's hard to really think clearly, so for now. I'm just going to say a few things he told me. Bear in mind also, he was a Reverend.
"All that matters to me is that you find someone you love who loves you in return. It does matter who who he or she is."
"You need to find what you believe in, even if it's not at this church."
*Upon giving me a Dungeons & Dragons set in the late 1980's* "If you start worshipping Satan after playing this, it doesn't mean that the game made you do it, it just means that you're stupid."
He was supportive, and was someone I could talk to about anything.
I miss him.

I lost mine in June '18, so you're not alone there.
"Shit, this sucks"? Cos of course it does, but that doesn't help you any.
Rest in peace.
Next time we're together let's go visit where he'll be buried, ok?
I like the Dungeons and Dragons comment. That was a fun one and does sound supportive.
*Hug*
He sounded cool, like he had some street wisdom or something X3
And... as i always say... memory is the best justice you can do for someone.
And..what matters is what you do from here on.
i'll be thinking about you.. you're not alone.
