This world is fucked up. I'm sorry for starting off like that but I just need to get these words off my chest.
This morning I was told that my boss has died from Covid-19 today. He was in for something else but ended up catching it and has now fucking died from it. Fuck man. Just fuck.
Meanwhile our government is "sorry" for letting 100,000 thousand people die and that they did "everything" they could. No you didn't. You know you didn't. You were dithered around whilst this wretched virus rampaged through our country, tore people away from their loved ones and die alone in suffering, destroyed people's businesses, took their jobs, kicked them out of their homes and you're sorry? Sorry? SORRY!?
IF YOU WEREN'T SO FUCKING INCOMPETENT NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED! But nooooo…. The scientists don't know what they're talking about. I mean anyone can get a PhD. It's just a form you fill in right? NO IT ISN'T!!! WHY DON'T YOU GO AND TELL THAT TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SUFFERED FROM THIS? TELL THEM TO THEIR FACES THAT YOUR "SORRY". But you won't will you? You won't because you don't have a piece of paper that tells you what to say and you have to act as a human being for once in your life. But what am I talking about? These are people that fucked pigs for a laugh so they aren't human. They're fucking trolls. That's what they are. Trolls. But so it comes to the main issue which is how majority of the people don't take that virus seriously or respect the very simple rules you mentioned. I mean, the number of times people without mask came close to talk to me is just mind blowing. Many people around me keep organizing parties and don't mind the virus at all (and of course they don't get the virus). Young people die of the disease as well, and we don't know the long-term effects of this disease. A few published studies suggest that even in mild forms of COVID serious scars are left on the lungs, heart and also brain. One of my best friends (25, healthy with no preexisting conditions) still has short breath despite having caught corona 3+ months ago.
The pandemic wouldn't be as bad if most human beings were a bit smarter and less egoistic, and I really hope that the vaccines will put an end to this disaster. Take care on your side as well,
I've already had an injection for the vaccine so I'm partially protected but I'm still adhering to the rules. My dad despite being vulnerable to the virus won't get a vaccine for at least another month (Just another reason to be mad at the UK government)
Perhaps, but it's nonetheless amazing that you're already so far ahead in the vaccination process, even if the second dosis won't come before a month. Normally the first injection already protects up to 50 % and avoids severe COVID. In France young healthy people won't be vaccinated before end of August at best (end of October is more realistic sadly). And even people like my father who is technically at risk won't get it before May...
