Another year later...

Heck, I should probably create journals more often. Thing is, I don't really have much to say ^^;
Anyways, so much has happened in the past year. Yes, 2020 did 2020 things but I'm not going to talk about that. However, I will say that I'm thankful my life hasn't been negatively affected too much. I am very lucky in that regard. Besides that, I graduated with a degree in environmental biology! That felt like forever ago, especially with how much time I've spent distracting myself with art. Speaking of which, I opened for commissions for the first time back in August 2020! Goodness, I can confidently say my art skills have skyrocketed since then. It really pushed my abilities to their limits and fast-forwarded my learning. So a little tip from me: if you're an artist and unsure about going that extra step and doing commissions, do it anyways! Sometimes, all you need is that extra push and get the ball rolling.
Pardon the little plug, but I'd like to throw in my commission info sheet here just because: https://docs.google.com/document/d/.....it?usp=sharing
It really does blow my mind how far I've come in art. I sometimes take a look back at the old art I've done and it gets me excited thinking about all the new ideas I'll be able to execute. My 2-year progress is here, if anyone's interested in taking a look at what I consider my best work each month: https://twitter.com/TempoMcFlurry/s.....392105992?s=20
Anyhoo, just like last year's journal, today is also my birthday! Yay! *throws more confetti in the air.* And again I have plenty of birthday lasagna to go around for anyone who wants. Here's to yet another year of art :D

Again happy birthday! Congrats on obtaining your degree. One less thing to worry about but life continues to move forward. Shouldn't say it gets harder but it does present more challenges which is good if you are able to learn from those challenges. I haven't been following your artwork long at all but looking through your gallery and summaries I can definitely tell you've improved and changed your style a lot over the two years. Looking forward to seeing more of your work! ^^
