Yo I’ve had this happen on two different occasions now.

If someone gives you a shout or sends you a note with “hey I like your character” - if you reply, they’re going to almost immediately send you a message or a note asking for you to commission them. The first one I asked didn’t have any commission prices listed in any way and all of their art was shortly taken down after our conversation... I can’t prove they aren’t a real artist but this just screams scam.

This one told me their commission would be 90 bucks, so I’m gonna just assume they’d have taken my money and never given me a piece if I had accepted their offer. But again, just a hunch. Because when I asked if this was a scam they got pissed and blocked me lol

So just be wary of that
