I'm making a journal to remove that old goodbye journal, considering I've posted recently it kinda looks awkward to have it featured.
Some of you are probably wondering what my status is. As you may have noticed I haven't left, I've been posting here and there, so what's the deal?
It's safe to say that I am here part-time. I am not back to this account full-time and probably never will, I simply don't have that kind of time to sit here and draw on two accounts. I've been drawing on my other account since June 2019 and it has taken a lot of my time, I also work a full-time job so it's kinda hard to juggle all of that and still draw for this account. Obviously it's not impossible since I have uploaded a few things on here, messy drawings, but I hope you guys can still enjoy them.
If you guys wanna ask questions without having to go to curiouscat, or just wanna talk, you can do so in this journal's comments if you want. Let me answer some possible questions.
Will you ever open commissions again?
That's a maybe, some of you on Twitter saw me poke around at the idea and I still haven't quite decided on that yet. Stay tuned?
Is your other account NSFW?
Yes my other account is porn, but not furry. It's regular old human porn with way less kinks, probably not as exciting as the stuff you're used to on here.
Is your Patreon ever coming back?
If you want me to keep drawing "family friendly" content, then Patreon is a no. They monitor your content off-site, so my account would probably get nuked anyways. There's SubscribeStar but quite honestly I don't draw here enough to warrant an account on those sites.
Ever finishing those sketches?
Maybe? I've been drawing new things because is what I've been feeling inspired to do, some of those oldies are definitely good but I kinda forget they exist half the time haha.

The dream would be to survive off of these account *without* having to do commissions, which is pretty much impossible without Patreon or Subscribestar. To get a following that large on those sites requires, well what I mentioned at the beginning of this comment.
Still though, I am trying to grind this out on my other account, but it does get difficult to keep inspired. Being an artist is hard D:
I dont have a horse in this race, since im not following you anywhere, but seeing you not trying remotely while you obviously would make it big with your art whatever you go at's kinda rubbing me off. Like FFS Oron... Have you *EVER* put yourself full time drawing? Have you even tried? And whats wrong with drawing of others who cant? Obviously ppl will come to you for a set of flavours, dont have to take all of them. But like, in the end we provide something they cant get anywhere else. Losing my train of thoughts, its 5am, fuck me. XD

Your issue is flipflopping and being moody about how you get your work around.
If you stuck to one acc, and did barely a few commissions, eventually youd amass a huge following like many I wont name.
Then no matter what you draw ppl will just throw you so much money you wont know what to do with it.
Then you can just do "whatever you want" like ALL artists wish (turns out its not just you). Well your job prob pays way better and simplier yeah?
I got to see your art because of hexy. Kinda liked it. And still do.

The E/D/C/B/A ranks arent an indicator of "dont bother, give up".
All it means is: to get somewhere youll have to do much, much more.
I suppose to push an extreme example, I'd say an "F" (thats not in Disg. but lets say to make it worst) would be asking a construction worker thats 50, who never drew, to start at that age and make a career out of lewd art. You know, the man's kinda done I think. Could try, but... better stick to what he does best and rake in tons of money instead. Who cares if he wont be anything art wise. He can buy anyone's art services in a dime (probably), etc.
Even if im not an A though, its my job but passion too since Im a teen.
Not going to give up - its the best place for me. Im a free spirit in nature.
Free to fail but free to succeed. Suits me best. I cannot see myself doing anything else.
(Though im certified as a GD too). Even if I dont reach that far up there Ill still be happy about it.

I personally don't think I would be considered an S or even an A, I just have the advantage of having been doing this for years. I'm in my early 30s now and I picked up the pen when I was 5. I never really was a dedicated artist, I would take year long breaks and forget about drawing, but I always found a way to come back and have fun with it. I'm probably just a mediocre artist that has grinded for too long, true S ranks would draw like once a year and still do 100x better than me.
Hmm live your dreams huh. I wonder what my dreams even are anymore haha
