Nuble species description
General
The Nuble come from only one part of the world, a large island far out in the ocean known as Newlar. Their name, Nuble, was coined by the first explorer to find them. As he described them as noodles when speaking about them. But due to translations, they came to be called the Nuble, which sounds similar to noodle.
The island of Newlar is covered by jungle, with a single large city in the center where most Nuble live, while small villages dot the rest of the island.
Not much is known of the Nuble's past, but what is known is they make excellent maids and butlers. When a Nuble is born, they are evaluated carefully to decide which class they are placed into.
Worker, island servant, or hireling.
Being placed as a worker puts them as middle class, as they are what make up the working class of the island. For workers who show certain skills, they will be recruited into the islands military. This is the most common placement for new born Nuble.
Nuble placed in the island servant position are usually ones who have defects or smaller bodies. This is considered the lower class.
The hireling's are the Nuble who are treasured by the Newlar government. They have all the characteristics of a True Nuble, and are ascetically pleasing. Upon becoming a hireling, the Nuble then spends most of their younger life being trained to be a professional butler/maid, also receiving extensive training in many different skills as well. Upon reaching young adulthood, they are sold to prominent figures throughout the world.
A Nuble hireling is the property who ever buys them, but can be released by said person to become a Vagrant Nuble, or a free Nuble. If their master dies, they can either return to Newlar, or become a Vagrant Nuble. But they will be shunned by most Nuble on Newlar.
The Nuble of Royal Birth are exempt from being placed into a role.
The species is sexual dimorphism, with the females having owl like heads, while the males have jackal like heads. The traditional wear for the Nuble varies greatly between gender and social ranking, but workers and Vagrant's do not have an enforced dress code. Island servants can only wear simple earth colored robes and must always wear a band somewhere visible on their body to identify their current master/care taker.
Nuble with Royal Blood within them are the only Nuble who are born with wings. No other Nuble have them. Any born outside the Royal Blood line are usually the result of outside breeding and will always be returned to the palace.
