Update Regarding Commissions

Hey guys,
I've been thinking a lot about a few things related to commissions. I don't want this journal to be too long so I'll try to be as brief as I can while being as clear as possible.
First off, thank you once again to those of you who commission. It means so much to me, and I love doing them for you :)
Second: I think it's come that time again where I should increase my prices. I've been thinking about it for the past few months, and I feel that it is appropriate. I feel (and hope) that I've improved since the last increase to warrant it. When I first started taking commissions, I kept my prices dirt cheap because I didn't have the confidence or skills that I do know. Lately I've been thinking that the amount of time and work it takes to do some pictures is starting to outweigh the asking price, and I just feel that I need to edit pricing a little so that it strikes a balance of being both fair to commissioners as well as fair to me. I just don't want to sell myself short.
The prices are not going to be increased immediately, though. Like last time, I'm going to offer an opportunity for anybody who wants to get a commission at the current pricing to do so effective immediately. I'll keep this open until the end of the month, probably, and then I'll close commissions for a while until I get the queue down to a comfortable amount. I will then post an up to date price sheet once I'm ready to take more commissions. I'll also be adding at least one new option that will be on the cheaper side to make up for the increased prices. I hope you all can understand.

And the last bit of information is related to the near future. I've been working almost non-stop on commissions for a while, and I think I need to take a quick break from it. So next week or the week after, I will be taking the week to work solely on personal art just to refresh myself and give myself a rest so I can come back to commissions with full energy. I hope this is understandable as well. Thank you for the patience that you've been showing already. I really don't like making people wait, but sometimes it can't be helped. I really think what's best for me is taking this week away from commissions and then returning with renewed vigor.
