Idiots

So a gender study professor is now telling us this :

Okay. For the records: I do NOT treat my pets humanely, if that means treating them like humans. I do not scream at them, not calling them idiots, wanting to beat the shit out of them. No . I do not treat my pets humanly. I will treat NO animal humanly. Because they are better than humans.
(yeah cry about that, now answer me: has your life been made more miserable by animals or humans?;) )
On another note: I don't think I need to explain here treating humans or animals bad is a terrible thing, yeah? And coming up with such a conclusion like Lady Katja is... well. I am not able to agree with her on any term.

basically it seems to be one of these cases again: You can read what you want to read into it. but some of this is really strange.
Finally, I searched (and found) extracts of Katja M. Guenther's book "The Lives and Deaths of Shelter Animals" on Google Scholar and Google Books, and made a research for the word "humanely". Only appeared once, and in a positive way. It is encouraged.
Same for "racist", only one appearance was allowed by Google Books, and it says that pit bulls are nowadays associated with black men and have replaced german shepherd as the "most feared of dogs" in the collective mind, associating pit bulls them with the "dangerous thug white male" image in the U.S. At no point the book seems to say that "treating dogs humanely is racist" but rather that "people working at shelters have preconceived ideas about dogs' owners according to the dog's race". As for "white supremacy", no results.
Dogs' races associated with white people are treated better by shelter personnel than dogs' races associated with POC. Wounds on the first dogs are more associated with accidents, while the second have their wounds considered more frequently with animal cruelty, independently to the real cause of the wound.
Dogs are side-victims of human racism. This is basically her conclusion.
This doctor is defending equal treatment between all dogs, humane treatment of dogs, remembering us that a dog can hardly have a better condition that the owner due to the owner's situation in terms of race, gender and class (unless you want to pretend that racism, sexism and capitalism have already been abolished, in which case her work is indeed worthless), but some alt-right assholes can convince people like you she's the stupid one making stupid claims she never made.
You better stop watching sociology-triggered snowflakes talking bullshit on TV and taking pride in not understanding a word.
And, if you have 2 hours to spare, listen to the author :
