Hey all, I know I haven't posted a journal in ages, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to do a YCH auction? I've run into some financial hardships and I was thinking of exploring this option.

Set an end time, with clearly stated rules (ex: do bids x minutes from the auction end extend the timer by x amount, or not). Typically 24 hours is a good auction length. Time it to make sure you'll be present when the auction ends.
Set your SB and AB at %'s of what you would normally charge for a piece of that complexity. Maybe 75% and 200%. You're charging a bit more because you're doing spec work, essentially.
