The End of It
Hello, all.
I still can’t quite believe I’m typing this. And I’m not sure what’s entirely appropriate.
Last night,
connercoon or
rockytheprocy, if you knew him by that name, passed away. You probably have heard he was in the hospital fighting off COVID and a secondary infection brought on by pneumonia, and last night, that fight ended.
He was my best friend. A mentor, in some respects. I would never have gotten my book off the ground if not for him. He was kind to a fault- he gave people more chances than they deserved. He was slow to anger, generous, warm, and fun-loving. He constantly worked to improve his art, and I don’t think he ever realized how popular he really was. For this community, he was a role model- never saying an unkind word about someone in public, never getting mired in petty drama, and always treating his commissioners with professionalism and putting his all into every piece. To his friends, even when he didn’t know what to say, he stayed by them, offering anything he could. In our tabletop games, he was a master role player, and let some of his best qualities shine- or his sense of humor shine, vacillating between noble heroes and quirky little gremlins we all fell in love with.
I’m fortunate enough to have many, many fond memories of him. Memories that’ll help me get through this. If you have thoughts or prayers to give, give them to his family, and his husband. Silver Stag and I will have to talk about the growth drive, as all the money will still be going to help out Faux in what is, frankly, a living nightmare.
It goes without saying that I don’t think I’ll be doing any commission work for a while. I apologize. If I do write, I think for my own good I’ll focus on personal projects. At least for a little while.
If you do want to help out Conner's husband before we get the Growth Drive back up and running again, you can donate here: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/fauxesune
God bless,
-Renard

Losing someone close to you is tough.
He will be deeply miss by me and others. My condolences to you and those close to him.
I hope you the best and always my DMs if you or anyone need someone to talk in this dark times.
Take care everyone, stay safe.
My condolences to the family, his husband and closest friends.
Thank you. For making me love this world through your art and I know you will continue to inspire new artists from up there. Your works will remain eternal.
Thanks Conner!😢❤️
This all happened just a few days ago, I am very sorry for not correcting that.
I really gonna miss him, he had amazing ideas, funny pics, and he was a nice and reasonable guy too...
I just gave a prayer for his folks (like the info mentioned too) If i knew about it sooner i woulda prayed in the house of god which is more a powerful place for prayer... man this is hard to believe...
I don't know if there's anything more I could say that hasn't been said.. This is just...
That someone like Conner is gone. He was a great artist and a prominent figure in the FA community, and now he’s gone. My condolences to his family for their loss
I will do as you asked here and send my prayers their way. I'm afraid I'm not in much of a position to help financially, sadly. I hope you and the others impacted by his passing will be able to feel better soon.
