I never knew the guy but I definitely recognize his art style: it’s really terrifying and scary how this virus can take someone so violently, and it’s just really nervewracking. The fact he and I share a name also hits a bit closer for me, since I just never ever like to see anyone pass away, let alone someone who I might have been able to befriend if I had the chance.

I feel for his husband too. Saw his twitter and I can immediately sense the huge grief. I’m hoping he’ll somehow get past this awful living nightmare, but I know first hand that losing a bestie or significant other can wreck you beyond belief. Really sad day in the community all around...

It's such a damn shame to see a talented creator taken from us so young from a god awful decease. I hope his death was at least peaceful. At least he's free from this world
