Today I have to say goodbye to my best friend.
I dont think it will last, but i feel happy right now; content and at peace
these last 5 hours with him are going to be hard of course but he's had a good life, ive learned from him and taken good care of him with alexis. He's as good as they come any gods that may exist will be lucky, and humbled, to have him be in their presence. He's never going to go far he'll be in my heart forever and his spirit will be in our home. He deserves to go with dignity, as himself; before his dementia claims any more of him. His body is healthy. He never knew the bodily failures of old age or the pains of cancer. Death will take his paw and lead him into his beyond no bitter kiss from the reaper for him, only for us as ones who must say goodbye but a lifetime of happiness is what he leaves with us, and not just his lifetime.
