*Are you a furry?
Yes, although some people have a wacky idea of what being a furry is. (None of you guys, though)
*If you have a Spouse/SO - Is he/she a furry too?
Not really, but I draw him as one sometimes.
*How long have you been in the community?
Jeez, since 1996 I think, the oldest fanart of my first fursona is from 1997. So, 12 years or more...
*How did you find furry?
As a kid I was obsessed with animals, most everything I wrote or drew was animal related. Well, that and dragons. I also liked anthro animals in cartoons..Disney, Don Bluth, anything.
*What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?
When we first got the internet Gargoyles was my obsession, and a nice furry named Carlemot I met through a Gargoyles chat room told me to read Redwall. After that I started roleplaying, and posting on furry art sites, and here I am today. :P
*What's Furry to you?
An animal with human characteristics.
*If someone found out you're a furry and asked you about it how would you respond?
I'd say of course I am, and explain to them that furry doesn't mean you dress up in fursuits and have sex, dammit.
*What are your favorite aspects of our community?
All the great friends I've met. :D
*Do you use any furry terms? (i.e. yiff, paws, murr?)
Ha ha, sometimes. If I'm hanging out with other furries.
*What do you wish furry was NOT associated with?
I think it gets a bad rap, but a lot of people don't get it. It's to be expected.
*How strongly do you feel about someone bashing the community as a whole?
I usually laugh about it, or correct them if they're wrong and it's someone I care to correct.
*How strongly do you feel about anyone bashing you yourself for your interest based on the media's aspect of what furry is?
Those are the ones I try to correct..
*We all know furries have alot of sexual aspects in this fandom, What's your opinion on it?
It's fine. There's sexual aspects in every fandom. Why furry gets a worse rap than hentai, I dunno.
Personal
*What is/are your fursona(s)?
I've gone through a few different ones as I've aged. Right now I draw myself as a housecat, but that might change..or might not.
*Do you have any fetishes that pertain to the fandom?
If I did I wouldn't tell you. ;)
*If you could magically morph into your fursona would you?
Uuuuhh sure I guess so, sounds fun!
*Do you believe you have a spirit animal?
hehe no
*What other fanbases/groups are you a part of?
Anime. I don't watch much but I go to 2-3 cons a year. xD
*Anthro/Feral, Therian or Kemonomimi (Not a furry, just a human with animal ears and a tail)?
Anthro, but I have some important feral characters too.
*Are you a fursuiter? If yes, how many do you own? If No, do you ever plan on being a suiter?
No. I used to want to, but I never go to cons or meets so what's the point? -_-
*How many of your friends are furry?
Alot of my online ones. Real-life wise, just a few.
*How many pets do you own, if any?
A betta named Alphonse.
*Aside from furry what other interests do you have?
Video games, anime, reading, blogging lol.
*Are you confident enough in yourself to say that you're a fur, no matter what the media says?
Yeah, but I'm not really confrontational so I'd probably just stay quiet and mutter darkly to the media. xD
Meetups
*Do you attend any cons? If no, would you attend any cons? If yes, which cons have you been to?
Not furry ones, I want to sometime though. I go to Anime Expo and Ani-Magic every year, and have gone to AnimeLA the past few years too.
*Do you go to local meetups(bowling, public outings...etc)?
Never. T-T Well one weekend, but it was just a few of us...
*Have you ever attended a furry party? If no, would you attend one?
No, but I might go to one.
Online
*Have you ever met up with a fur you talked to online?
Yes! Limey, Amran, Darkenwolf, Glyph, Batness, Shiori, a couple more..it was awesome meeting them. :D
*What furry websites do you attend?
FA. I used to go Yerf back in the day, and read a bunch of furry webcomics, but not so much anymore.
*What non furry websites do you frequent?
sciencedaily.com, fazed.net, deviantart, hulu, facebook, neopets.
*Has the fandom done anything for you that you're thankful for? Has it taught you anything or brought you anything you treasure greatly?
Yeah, I think people on FA have been friendlier than DA or SA. ^_^ I've met tons of friends I wouldn't have met without the fandom and I'm quite thankful for that!
