Yeah, that text game was fun to do but a bust because I never really did any planning with it. I want to do another, and I've tried, but so far the inspiration and ideas are lacking. Not to mention these days it's difficult for me just to write normally

That's fair. I fell into the same trap when working with Unity's engine. Easy to start but things quickly spiral out of scope / control.
