Dear Twitter Furries

Please stop reposting my stuff on Twitter. Everything I post here is already posted on my Twitter, which is already linked to every post I make here. I'd really appreciate it if you'd just RT the original post instead of saving the image, then reuploading it on your own. Especially since Twitter algorithms hate me so my work doesn't get much traction.
(Its not that hard to find my work either since I dont really post anything else on my Twitter other than my art.)
Thank you.

Sadly I kinda doubt Twitter will implement something like that since tweets are meant to be temporary and people reuse/repurpose images as reactions all the time there. The only place I know that kinda does that is Instagram (but ironically has a worse art theft problem xD)
This journal wasnt meant to incite anything political, its just me venting about my art getting reposted on Twitter lol π
(this is more of an amalgamation of my frustrations over the years of this happening to me lol)
Its all good! It doesn't happen too often, maybe like once every few months. It just gets me a bit miffed since I know I'm losing potential supporters everytime it happens.

Note to self: Dont utter the cursed bird site's name if you want to avoid politics lmao
I'd feel the need of going incognito and exposing by not only asking them many questions about how they drew it but more importantly by recording the entire session. I'd be like, "hey your artwork looks incredibly good man! What did you do to make that? How much time did it take for you to make that, and do you have the version with all the layers and files on it? I'd love to know what and how you made that, but more importantly. How much for a commission? I'd love to have an art piece very similar to that piece, but with a different pose. If it's that easy, why not you show me how you're making it because man I'd love to know. If you could, could I by chance have this drawing done in 5 days?" Right there and then, they will crack under pressure because they won't be able to replicate your artwork or know the full-on steps taken. They'll try to showboat about it and will use any possible way to get out of the situation before finally confessing it isn't theirs. Especially when you give it some time and find that the piece they have traced back to you, thus not only you have a lot of evidence of evil art thief. But also exposing him on youtube where nobody would wanna mess with your content anymore because you're protecting your content.
Also, it is extremely important before even showing friends to always upload your artwork first. The first person to make the art piece is their artwork because of date and time. However, if you were to give someone your art piece you really don't want them claiming. You'll have evidence of the date and time as well as the copyrights since your the first person to post an art piece that has not been created onto the internet yet.
Usually if you just have a PSD file of the art, thats pretty much solid proof there that is yours. Of course, having a timestamp helps too! Though usually the only time I show people my art before its posted is if its a commission for them. :'D
