A Clarifying Message

Am I a furry?
The short answer is, no. The long answer is... it's complicated.
Even though most of my art is settled in anthropomorphic fantasy characters I myself don't consider myself a furry. I've gotten many messages sent to me in the past few months of people either asking me if I was or slandering me for being one ( and even though I'm not a furry, how dare these people say such things about any subculture) I don't have a fursona nor do I take part in or enough in lifestyles that a furry would. I'm just a dude that makes art and has an appreciation for furry or anthropomorphic style art.
To me, furry is an identity defined by one's lifestyle and not just what art one likes to make. but I'm no an expert on that subject so it's just my opinion.
